I prefer socialism over capitalism because capitalism is kind of what happened in the industrial revolution, people weren't in charge or had no say in anything , only the businessman did and whatever they did was for a profit and look how that turned out . you got a bunch of underpaid poor people everywhere barely living , no social class , no economy but the profits businessmen would make . and what would businessmen do with the money made ? build schools ? for who? Kids at work? The business men tried to put the vision out there that they spend their money on the community but if you didn't have poor people everywhere and if you had laws in place. Business Men wouldn't have to pay or act like they pay for everything, why should the majority of the people be poor and only certain people can be rich ? it's not fair and there is no good about capitalism except the profits that only businessmen make. So i support socialism , because i believe things should be fair and that everyone should have a chance to have a say in something, once people went on strike and stood up for themselves and let their voices be heard what happened?,laws were passed , the people got what they asked for , what they knew was right for their society. What was wrong with their society ? capitalism, we all live in a society and while it may not be equal it is fair , there are laws they apply to everyone , the equal thing about a socialist society is that you can have a chance at better life , you can move up the social class, if you are poor you don't have to be poor forever. Capitalism is basically another name for slavery something that was wrong many years ago and something that is wrong today although you still see it happen in our country , nothing is perfect but the majority of it is , it is better than it was in the industrial revolution ages.
